Kenneth F. Ours, 68, 762 Fairfield Ave. Columbiana, Ohio, passed away at 5:25 pm on August 1, 2006 at his residence, following a brief illness. Kenneth was born on May 18, 1938 in Meigs County, Ohio, the son of Theodore and Melvina McKenzie Ours. Mr. Ours had resided in East Liverpool in his childhood and moved to Rogers in 1958 where he resided until he moved to Columbiana in 1975. He worked as a press operator for 36 years at Kaiser Refractories in Columbiana which later became National Refractories where he worked until 2002 when he retired. Kenneth was a member of New Waterford Eagles AERIE 2415 and Leetonia American Legion Post 131. He is survived by two sons K. Michael Ours and his wife Lisa of Lisbon and Kevin Ours and his wife Yvonne of East Liverpool; his former wife Joyce Ours Hillberry of Lisbon a brother Dennie Ours of East Liverpool and five grandchildren, David, Kristopher, Melissa, Kayla and Rebecca Ours. He was preceded in death by his second wife Doris Naughton Ours; a son Kenneth F. Ours II, five sisters Dora Brown, Virginia Cochran, Lydia Wilson, Evelyn Evans and Helen Neville and a brother Richard Ours. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2006 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with Mr. Jerry Pingley officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Memorial Gardens.
