Kenneth "Kenny" L. Williams, 57, of Rockdale Ave, Youngstown, Ohio, passed away at 12:36 a.m. on July 27, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Boardman Campus following an extended illness. Mr. Williams was born in Salem, Ohio, the son of Roy and Helen L. (Mentzer) Williams. Kenny was a 1971 graduate of South Range High School, where he had played basketball. Mr. Williams worked for Napa Auto Parts in North Lima and for Sheeley's Furniture Store in North Lima as a delivery person up until the time he became disabled. Kenny attended Mount Olivet United Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time with his daughter. Mr. Williams is survived by his daughter, Lisa Williams of New Springfield, Ohio and by one brother, Gary (Kay) Williams of North Lima, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. noon on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Mount Olivet United Church of Christ with Rev. Melinda Q. Lacefield officiating. Friends may call from 10-12 p.m. prior to the service at the church on Saturday, July 31, 2010. The family requests that material contributions be made to Mount Olivet Memorial Fund, 410 W.
