Obituary

Lester E. "The Outlaw" Bolyard, 55, of North Lima, passed away Tuesday morning at Essex of Salem. Lester was born on December 10, 1956 in Youngstown, the son of Lester Sr. and Martha Jean (Brenneman) Bolyard, and was a lifelong area resident. A 1976 graduate of Columbiana High School, he worked with his father in his firewood business and auto repair. Due to his respiratory illness, he was forced to retire early. Lester enjoyed building model cars, watching Westerns on TV, and going to auto races and car shows. He also enjoyed watching Tom & Jerry cartoons, cutting firewood, and driving. He was a member of the North Lima Mennonite Church. Lester leaves to cherish his precious memory his sisters, Mary Grate of Columbiana and Janet Lynn Kelley of Rogers; a brother, Stephen (Nancy) Bolyard of Columbiana; four nieces, one nephew, four great-nieces, and four great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held on Friday, June 8 at 11 a.m. at the North Lima Mennonite Church with the Rev. Robert Wengerd officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour prior to the services Friday at the church. Burial will follow at Mount Olivet United Church of Christ Cemetery in North Lima. The Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima has been entrusted with the arrangements.
