Linda L. Conkle/Columbiana Linda L. Conkle, 64, West Salem Street, Columbiana, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving daughters and brother John on February 18, 2009. Linda passed following a brief illness at the Hospice House in Poland, Ohio. She was born February 5, 1945 in Salem, Ohio. Linda was the daughter of Charles L. Cope and the late Dorothy J. (Hall) Cope. Linda was an employee of St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center for the past 13 years. She served St. Mary's as a State Tested Nurses Aide. During Linda's life, she busied herself in many activities. The love of her life were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She delighted in spending time with her family. Linda also enjoyed relaxing on the lawn with her many friends at the Manor Apartment Complex. She had a compassion that was shared with her friends, co-workers, family and patients that she had contact with everyday. Linda was a wonderful example of strength, devotion and selflessness for others to follow. Surviving are three daughters, Barb (Scott) Baumgardner of New Waterford, Becky (Eric) Perkins of Columbiana, and Christine (David) Norris of New Waterford. Linda leaves eight grandchildren, Stephenie Beight, Jennifer Proctor, Dan Baumgardner, Justin Perkins, Collin Perkins, Nathan Norris, Dakota Norris, Carlie Norris and six great grandchildren. Services will be held at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana on Friday, February 20, 2009 at 7 p.m. Friends and family may call from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Friday, February 20, 2009 prior to the service at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana. A private committal service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the New Waterford Cemetery Chapel with burial to follow at the New Waterford Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice House, 5190 Market Street, Boardman, Ohio 44512.
