Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home 11500 Market Street P.O. Box 281 North Lima, Ohio 44452 330-549-2231 Linda "Liz"Conser Engle, 59, of 120A N. Pearl St., Columbiana, Ohio, passed away at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at the Salem Community Hospital. Linda was born on July 14, 1947 in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of Chester O. and Celesta L. Stoudt Conser. Linda resided in the local area all of her life. She was a school teacher at South Range High School for 29 years where she taught the family consumer science class. Linda was of the Methodist Faith. She was a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelors Degree in Consumer Science. She was a past member of the Rainbow Girls and a present member of the Order of Eastern Star of Salem. She was advisor of the Home Ec Club and also supported various clubs and organizations of the High School. She was an active volunteer in the American Cancer Society. Linda also volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House of Youngstown. Linda was a member of the Ohio Education Association, the National Education Association and the South Range Education Association. Linda was survived by two daughters Diane Engle of Columbus and Jennifer Engle of Struthers; a sister Mrs. Bessie Sheely of New Garden and two brothers Fred Conser and his wife Dorothy of Salem and Richard Conser and his wife Phyllis of New Garden and nieces and nephews Janie Wherry and husband Virgil of Lisbon, Peggy May of Hanoverton and Beth Pottschmidt and her husband Steve of Medina. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday May 11, 2007, at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima with with Rev. Melinda Q. Lacefield officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 Thursday, May 10, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society or South Range High School for a scholarship fund which will be established in her name.
