Loretta (Dolly) M. Manchester, 91, of Parkside Health Care formally of Market Street in North Lima, passed away at 4:00 p.m. of infirmities of age on Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Mrs. Manchester was born in New Springfield, Ohio on June 23, 1916, the daughter of Silas and Marjorie Elser. Loretta was a life time area resident and was a homemaker, she attended the Good Hope Lutheran Church of North Lima. Mrs. Manchester was preceded in death on August 27, 2002 by her husband Harold Manchester, whom she married on December 3, 1940. Loretta is survived by two sons; Gary Manchester and Ted Manchester, both of North Lima, 8 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Manchester was preceded in death by one son; Ward Manchester, one brother; Kenneth Elser, two sisters; Letha Barger and Verna Hammer. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 a.m. on Friday, February 22, 2008, at the Good Hope Lutheran Church in North Lima with Pastor Ralph Edwards officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service from 11:00-12:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery.
