Services will be held at 12 p.m. Friday at the Paradise United Church of Christ with Rev. Steve Geitgey officiating for Lori A. Kenney, 52, of Canfield, who went home to be with the Lord Saturday, December 10, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center after suddenly becoming ill at her home. Lori was born on June 11, 1959 in Youngstown, the daughter of Maurice and Jacqueline (Hixson) Calvin, and was a lifelong area resident. She had attended South Range High School. She previously worked in private home health care. Lori was a member of the Paradise United Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memory, her mother; her daughters, Heidi (Joel) Flynn of Hubbard and Abbie (Allen) Kay of Beaufort, South Carolina; her son, Ben Kenney of Columbiana; her brothers, Robert (Norma) of Lisbon, Jeff, and Todd Calvin, both of Canfield; her granddaughter, Evan Geane Flynn; and a grandchild on the way; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Friday at the Paradise United Church of Christ, New Buffalo Rd. in Canfield.
