BOARDMAN- Louise Stombock, 98, entered into eternal rest Sunday, Aug. 4 at Beeghly Oaks Skilled Nursing Center. She was born on Oct. 24, 1914 in Youngstown, a daughter of Hubert and Rubie (Ames) Stombock. Upon graduation from Chaney High School, Louise began her career in the insurance industry. She was past president of the Insurance Women of Trumbull County, a lifelong member of the Miriam Chapter of the Eastern Star, and a past Worthy Matron. Louise belonged to Emmanuel Lutheran Church in New Springfield, and was a former member of First United Methodist Church in Girard. She leaves to cherish her precious memory, several cousins; her dearest friends for 37 years, Draper and Theresa Eltman of Vienna and their children and grandchildren; and her nursing home friend, Wendel Green. Besides her parents, Louise was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Shelley. As per her wishes, a memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9 at Beeghly Oaks Skilled Nursing Center with Pastor Aimee Raymond officiating. Interment will be at Kerr Cemetery in Mineral Ridge. The Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
