Box 1 Columbiana, Ohio 44408 330-482-3788 Luceia "Lucy" Fry, 78 of Alterra Sterling House in Salem, Ohio, passed away at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday at the Greenbriar Healthcare Center in Boardman. Lucy was born on November 1, 1928 in Butler, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Charles and Mary E. Hornick Damico. Mrs. Fry moved from Butler, Pennsylvania to Columbiana in 1967. Lucy was a waitress in Butler, Pennsylvania for five years. She was a member of the St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana where she served in many various activities of the church. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband on November 30, 1994, Clair G. Fry. They were married November 8, 1948. Mrs. Fry is survived by three daughters Linda Fry of Amsterdam, New York, Cynthia Haskins and her husband James of Mooresville, North Carolina and Shari L. Fry of Columbiana; one son Charles H. Fry of Dresden, Ohio; two sisters Mrs. Mary Rusnak of Cabot, Pennsylvania and Mrs. Marshall (Gloria) Smith of Murrells Inlet, South Carolina and four grandchildren. Lucy was also preceded in death by two sisters Rose Plutchak and Margaret Padovese and two brothers Victor Damico and Robert Damico. A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 27, 2007 at the St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana with Rev. Thomas Ziegler officiating. Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery.
