Luella Mae Vanpelt, 72, of Columbiana, passed away Tuesday morning, February 4, at St. Elizabeth Health Center. Luella was born on August 7, 1941 in Orrville, a daughter of Levi and Elizabeth (Lehman) Falb. She attended North Lima High School and was a lifelong member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church. She was a homemaker. Luella loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Luella leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband, Lloyd, whom she married June 27, 1964; three daughters, Laura Mae Vanpelt of Berlin, Lucille (Robin) Martin of Snover, Mich., and Louise (John) Steiner of Columbiana; three sons, Lloyd Jr. (Reba) of Columbiana, Leonard (Della) of North Lima, and Leon (Gayle) of Columbiana; two brothers, Maynard (Norma) and Merlin (Edith) Falb, both of Columbiana; 23 grandchildren; and three great-granddaughters. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 8, at Pleasant View Mennonite Church, where the church ministry will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the church.
