Mable Catherine VanPelt Steiner, 72, of 400 County Line Rd., Columbiana went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. at the Aultman Hospital in Canton from Pulmonary Fibrosis. Mable was born September 1, 1933 in Columbiana; she was the daughter of Charles William and Iva (Witmer) VanPelt. Mrs. Steiner accepted Christ as her Savior in her youth and was a faithful member of Pleasant View Mennonite Church. She was a homemaker. She was married on November 17, 1957 to Louis Steiner. She is survived by her husband, five daughters Mrs. Kent (Dorothy) Zimmerman of Goshen, Indiana, Mrs. Jason (Iva) Witmer and Mrs. Nathan (Charlotte) VanPelt of Columbiana, Katherine Steiner at home and Mrs. Milton (Sue Ann) Weaver of Wooster; a son John (Louise) Steiner of Columbiana; three sisters Mrs. Elmer (Bertha) Weaver and Mrs. Marvin (Loretta) Good both of Dalton and Mrs. Frank (Emma Ruth) Walker of Marshalville; four brothers Roy of Kidron, David, Joseph, and Ivan all of Columbiana; 32 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren Gary Steiner and Sylvia Witmer, one sister Anna Neuenschwander and a brother John VanPelt. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 24, 2006 at Midway Mennonite Church in Columbiana with Norman VanPelt officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-9 pm at the Midway Mennonite Church in Columbiana on Sunday, July 23, 2006.
