Margaret Claypoole, 91, of 1750 Middletown Road, North Lima, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2007 at 12:30 pm at her home with her family by her side. Margaret was born April 28, 1916 in Socket, Montana, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Vindas Valinsky. Mrs. Claypoole moved to North Lima in 1950. Margaret worked for American Paper Products for 20 years as a proof reader. She retired in 1979. Margaret was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church in North Lima. She enjoyed making quilts and afghans and was also well known for her cookies she baked. Mrs. Claypoole is survived by her husband, David Claypoole whom she married August 12, 1939, in the Brownlee Woods Reformed Church of Youngstown. Other survivors include her son Robert Claypoole and his wife Diane of Columbiana and three grandchildren Jeff, Chrisy and Sherri. Mrs. Claypoole was preceded in death by one son, Daivd Edward Calypoole in 1991, four sisters; Annie, Susie, Mary and Helen and two brothers; John and Mike. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at the Calvary United Methodist Church in North Lima with Rev. Peter P. Kerlin officiating. Burial will be in Lake Park Cemetery.
