Margery C. Bethard, 92, of Columbiana, passed away Thursday, March 16 at the Sterling House in Salem. Margery was born on Nov. 7, 1919, in Seamans, Oh, the daughter of Orville and Lula(Campton) Anderson, and moved to Columbiana from Lancaster, Oh, in 1950. She was a graduate of Seamans High School. She had been employed by National Rubber Machinery (N.R.M.) as a secretary in the personnel department for 32 years. Margery was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Columbiana. She also belonged to the Columbiana Rose Society, AARP, and the American Legion Post 290 of Columbiana. Besides her parents, Margery was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, whom she married on May 4, 1940; and two sisters. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 19 at the Columbiana Cemetery with the Rev. Paula Archdeacon officiating.
