Marjorie E. Champney, age79, of Columbiana, OH, passed away at 9:30 am Thursday, February 17, 2011 at the Blossom Nursing and Rehab Center in Salem. Mrs. Champney, the Daughter of Thomas and Gladys (Hill) Bose, was born on October 18, 1931 in New Boston, NH. Marjorie was a graduate of New Boston H.S., NH. She moved to Columbiana in 1961 and was employed at Hecks Restaurant until her retirement. She was an active member of the Grace Church in Columbiana, and was active in Senior Citizens. She enjoyed horse racing, dancing and spending the holidays with her children and grandchildren. Marjorie is survived by three sons, Durand (Joyce) Champney, Columbiana, Edward (Paulette) Champney of New Middletown, Lou (Patty) Champney, North Jackson, OH, one daughter, Amy (Randy) Collins, Salem, three sisters, Phyllis LaBossiere, of NC, Barbra Gudek, NH, and Dorothy Condon, Manchester, NH. One brother, Thomas A Bose, of NC, and dear friend Blanche Lanterman. Marjorie is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. Preceding her in death by twin children, David and Diane, brother Robert Bose, sisters Elizabeth and Marion, and granddaughter Amanda. Services will be held Monday February 21st, 2011 at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, Columbiana, at 11:00 am with Reverend Rob Joy officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday February 20th, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Columbiana Cemetery.
