Marjorie C. Goterba, 90, of Blossom Nursing Home, formerly of Calla Road, Poland, passed away at 4:55 a.m. on Monday, September 10, 2007, following an extended illness. Marjorie was born on September 9, 1917 in Poland, the daughter of Charles and Clara (Price) Ockerman. Marjorie was a life-long area resident and a graduate of North Lima High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Olivet United Church of Christ in North Lima. Mrs. Goterba was preceded in death on July 8, 2002 by her husband Carl Goterba whom she married on May 29, 1940. Survivors include two sons; John "Jack" (Marilyn) Goterba of Petersburg and Bob (Kay) Goterba of Salem, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two brothers; Dale Ockerman and Earl Ockerman both of San Diego, California. Marjorie was also preceded in death by two sisters; Mildred Miller and Florella Stockman. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima, Ohio with Rev. Melinda Q. Lacefield officiating.
