Martha L. Keck, 87, of Essex Nursing Home, passed away on Monday, January 9, 2006 at the Essex Nursing Home. Mrs. Keck was born on December 2, 1918 in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of Percy and Ella Wilson McGinnis. Martha was a life-long area resident. She worked at General Electric in the Coiling Department for 6 years. She also sold Avon products, worked at Plum Tree at the mall, delivered telephone books and was a homemaker. She attended Victory Assembly. She was preceded in death on June 4, 2005 by her husband Emery Keck. They were married December 25, 1941. She is survived by a daughter Beatrice Smith of Cleveland, Ohio; a son Bruce Keck of New Springfield, Ohio and two grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the Lake Park Cemetery Chapel. There will be no calling hours. Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima was entrusted with the arrangements.
