SALEM – Mary E. Boggs, 91, passed away early Sunday morning, November 5 at Blossom Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Mary was born on October 12, 1926 in Weirton, WV, a daughter of Anthony and Rose Marie (Spiers) DeFebbo. She moved to Columbiana in 1965 and worked as a domestic house cleaner for 30 years in the area.

She leaves to cherish her memory daughters Bonnie Welling and Karen Kennedy, both of Salem, Sandra Lindsay and her companion Rick Yeager  of Columbiana, Debra Kelly and her companion Rick Smith of Guildford Lake and Mary McCarter of New Waterford; sons David Harris of IN, Charles Daubner of Columbus, Robert (Sue) Boggs of Columbiana, David (Jennifer) Boggs of FL, and Danny (Sandy) Boggs of Salem; 30 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and brother James (Grace) DeFebbo and sisters Gina Dattilo, DeLina DiGarlamo and Frances (Fred) Wetzel.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her son Mark Boggs, who passed away in 1972, sisters Carmela, Rose Marie and Helen and brothers Charles and John.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 8 at noon at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana.

The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m., an hour before the services at the funeral home.
