NORTH LIMA - A memorial service will be held Saturday April 19th at 11:00 AM at the Petersburg Presbyterian Church 13996 Youngstown-Pittsburgh Rd. Petersburg, Ohio for Mary R. Halter age 67 who passed away Thursday evening at the Hospice House. Mary was born August 19, 1940 in Titusville, PA, the daughter of Charles and Helen Francis Robertson. She was a graduate of Technical Arsenal High School In Indianapolis, IN, and later graduated Summa Cum Laud from Youngstown State University with her Bachelors Degree in Religious Studies. She had served as a Christian Educator at the Poland Presbyterian Church for almost 20 years before retiring. Mary was an active member of the Petersburg Presbyterian Church where she was an Elder and a member of its Session. She is survived by her husband William W. Halter whom she married July 27, 1963, a daughter Mollie M. Halter of North Lima, a son William R. (Heather) Halter of Franklin, Massachusetts, five grandchildren Christian D., Linnea G., Charles W., Jack R., and Henry C. Halter, six sisters, Louise (Luke) Markve of Buffalo, Minnesota, Charlotte Robertson of Indianapolis, IN, Elizabeth Marke of Indianapolis, Jennifer (George) Brown, of Fairland, IN, Rosemary Robertson of Indianapolis, Martha Robertson of Indianapolis, four brothers, Charles G. Robertson of Las Angeles, CA, John (Jan) Robertson of Indianapolis, David (Kathy) Robertson of Indianapolis, and Andrew (Sharon) Robertson of Naperville, Illinois. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Petersburg, Presbyterian Church. The family has requested that material tributes take the form of donations to the Petersburg Presbyterian Church in Mary's Memory.
