BOARDMAN - Mary R. Keller, 96, of Columbiana, passed away Monday evening, September 14 at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman. Mrs. Keller was born on April 21, 1919 in New Middletown, a daughter of Frederick and Lena M. (O'Neil) Welker. She graduated New Springfield High School in 1937, and moved to Columbiana the same year. She married William F. Keller on December 8, 1946 and together they would raise three daughters. Mary was a member of Grace Church of Columbiana. She belonged to the Columbiana Chapter No. 428 Order of the Eastern Star, was an avid reader, and greatly enjoyed bingo. She leaves to cherish her precious memory three daughters, Marsha (Terry) Wolf of Boardman, Ann (Bruce) Wise of Parrish, FL, and Nancy Wenderoth of Eagan, MN; five grandchildren Cody, Ashley (Tom), Chelsea (Andy), Kelly (Joe), and Kevin (Betty); and seven great-grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband William who passed in May 2002, sisters Marjorie Drotleff and Bea Jones, and three brothers Neal, Alan, and John Welker. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 26 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel in Columbiana Cemetery.
