Mary Spears, age 92, of Salem Care Center formerly of Lowellville,OH, passed away at 2:48pm Saturday June 4, 2011 at the Salem Care Center. Mrs. Spears, the daughter of George and Grace (Southern) Hill, was born on December 20, 1918 in Quicksand, KY. Mary is preceded in death by her husband Fletcher Spears whom she married on January 8, 1939. Fletcher died February 16, 1978. Daughter Mrs. Barbra Jean Cremeans also precede her in death. She is survived by four sons, Lawrence Spears, New Waterford, Llyod Spears, Warren, George Spears, Boardman, and Roy Spears, of Austintown. Nine grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren and seventeen great great grandchildren also survive. There will be a private service held for Mary and her family on Wednesday June 8, 2011. No calling hours are being held for Mrs. Spears. Burial will be at the New Springfield cemetery. Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, Columbiana, is handling the arrangements.
