Michael E. Berrill, 60, a resident of Shepherd of the Valley, 7148 West Blvd. Boardman, passed away at 10:50 p.m. Monday, June 19, 2006 at the home. Mr. Berrill was born August 7, 1945 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, the son of Eugene and Marcella Oyster Berrill. He moved to the local area from Waynesboro, Pennsylvania on October 2005. Michael worked for the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland for 17 years. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1963 -1965. He was Catholic by faith. He graduated from New Brighton High School. He attended Penn State University and he was a member of the American Legion Post of Waynesboro. He is survived by a sister Joanne "Bunny" Prosnick and her husband Paul of Columbiana, a brother Kenneth Berrill of Bradenton, Florida and many Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers John and Patrick Berrill. There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at the Columbiana Cemetery at a later date. Family suggests any memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market St. Boardman, Ohio 44512. Arrangements were handled by Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana.
