COLUMBIANA - Patricia LaLonde, 85, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 19 at her home. Mrs. LaLonde was born on June 16, 1931 in Dearborn, MI, a daughter of Dr. James and Irene (Conley) Norlock. She married Ronald E. LaLonde Sr. on September 6, 1953, and together they would raise three children. She worked at Arby's in the franchising offices and Gorant's in the accounting offices. She was in human resources at Easter Seals in Youngstown, where she was in charge of the annual telethon. Pat was a past Salem Rotary President. Along with her husband, she was a founding member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Columbiana, and was instrumental in starting their CCD program. She enjoyed reading and playing cards with friends, and was very talented in knitting and sewing. Patricia leaves to cherish her precious memory two daughters, Kathy Barth and her husband Barry of Boardman, Wendy LaLonde and her fiancAC. Frank Skedel of Aurora; one son Ronald "Rusty" LaLonde Jr. of Statesville, NC; seven grandchildren Shane Champney, Benjamin Barth, Daniel Barth, Alex Pancake, Michael LaLonde, Christopher LaLonde, and Rachel LaLonde; and one great-grandchild Grace Parobek-Kinsley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ronald LaLonde Sr. who passed away October 15, 2015, and two brothers James and Robert Norlock. Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 24 at noon at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana with Father Christopher Cicero officiating. The family will receive friends at 11:00 a.m., one hour prior to the noon service at the funeral home.
