COLUMBIANA - Paul William Kellner, 92, passed away Wednesday evening at Parkside Healthcare Center surrounded by his family. He was born on Aug. 26, 1920, the son of Frank Oscar and Myra Mildred (Nold) Kellner of Columbiana. Paul attended the Germantown one-room schoolhouse through eighth grade and graduated from North Lima High School in 1938. He married Betty Spencer on Dec. 24, 1945. Paul worked as a home delivery milkman for Bieber's Mill Creek Dairy of Woodworth and later for Purity Dairy of Beloit. After Paul retired from Superior Dairy of Canton in 1983, he enjoyed traveling, flower gardening and spending time with his family. Paul leaves to cherish his precious memory, his wife, Betty and their four children, Rosa Jean (Rick) Davis of Springfield, Mo., Peggy (Ted) Manchester of Columbiana, Jim (Susan) Kellner of Leetonia and Randy (Sherri) Kellner of Baden, Pa. He also leaves his grandchildren, Beth (Corey) Staten of Columbus, Jennifer (Joe) Murphy of Cuyahoga Falls, Chad (Samantha) Manchester of Boardman, Tim Kavanaugh of Springfield, Mo., Dale Kellner of Baden, Sara (Jim) Graham of North Jackson, Valerie Bates of Salem, Jake Kellner of Columbiana, and Bailey Kellner and Bekah Kellner of Baden. Paul leaves three great-grandchildren, Carson and Kara Murphy, and Colton Graham. Paul is also survived by his brother, John (Edith) Kellner of Columbiana and numerous nephews, nieces, friends, and neighbors. Paul spent his past two years at Parkside Healthcare Center of Columbiana, where he was treated like family by the loving and caring nurses, aides, and staff members. Services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Paradise Lutheran Church, 3689 West Western Reserve Road, Canfield, OH 44406, with the Rev. John Bartholomew officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday, prior to the services at the church. The Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana has been entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that material contributions be made to the Parkside Healthcare Center's Activity Fund, located at 930 E. Park Ave., Columbiana, OH 44408.
