Paul A. Richards, 91, of North Lima, Ohio, passed away at 6:35 p.m. on April 22, 2010 at the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Boardman Campus. Mr. Richards was born on October 29, 1918 in Struthers, Ohio, the son of the late Albert and Anna (McCleary) Richards. Paul was a 1936 graduate of Struthers High School. He was employed as a roll turner for 42 years at Sheet & Tube. He retired as the shop foreman. Mr. Richards was a W.W.II Army Veteran, serving as a Sgt. from 1942 to 1945 in France, Belgium and Germany. Mr. Richards is survived by his wife, Bertha A. (Whan) Richards, whom he married on September 21, 1940. He is also survived by one daughter, LaUna (Frank) Mrozek of Poland, Ohio; two sons, Gary Richards of Warren, Ohio, Duane (Susan) Richards of Indianapolis, Indiana; one sister, Wilma Guyer of Mantua, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jodi (Donald) Conley, Christopher (Jennifer) Mrozek, Michelle Starrs and three great-grandchildren, Drew Conley, Elizabeth Ostheimer and Jacob Westmoreland. Paul was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Watts and Dorothy Smith. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 26, 2010 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima with Rev. Jerry Kruse officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
