Pauline Ethel Forney, age 84, of Leetonia, OH, passed away at 12:47 pm Sunday, February 6, 2011 at the Salem Community Hospital. Mrs. Forney, the Daughter of Guy and Ethel (Davis) Price, was born on April 18, 1926 in Meadow Brook, W.VA. Pauline was a graduate of Leetonia H.S. in 1944 and was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Leetonia. Pauline was preceded in death on October 12, 1999 by her husband, Dean Harvey Forney, whom she married on April 17, 1947. Survivors include, one son, Jim (Linda) Forney, Leetonia, one daughter, Mrs Barbara Knee of Leetonia, sister Linda (John) Wissinger, of Salem, and brothers Fred (Mary) Price, Leetonia, and Tom (Mary Lou) Price, Greenville, N.C. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Jamie (James) Elenz, Josh (Kari) Forney, and two great grandchildren, Ben and Zachary Elenz. She is preceded in death by granddaughter Jackie Forney, two sisters Lucille Hollenshead, Betty Jenie Price, and two brothers Richard and Robert Price. Services will be held Thursday February 10th, 2011 at The First United Methodist Church in Leetonia, at 11:00 am with Reverend Teresa C. Smolka officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday February 9th 2011 at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, Columbiana and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
