Obituary

Pearl E. Whited, 88, of Essex II, Salem, passed away at 2:25 pm, Sunday, February 18, 2007 at Essex from infirmities of age. Mrs. Whited was born on March 10, 1918 in Coventry, Ohio, the daughter of Lewis and Katherine Biskopski Nettle. Pearl moved from Manchester, Ohio to Maryland in 1937, back to Ohio in 1990 and in 1997 she moved to Columbiana and then to Essex in January 2000. Mrs. Whited was a member of the Zion Hill Church of the Brethren. She was an avid gardner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Adolphus Whited on May 3, 1977, they were married on June 28, 1937. Survivors include a daughter Miss Gladys Whited of Lisbon, a son Gary L. Whited of Cullman, Alabama, a sister Mrs. Gladys Bell of North Canton, two brothers Robert Nettle and Russell Nettle both of Manchester, Ohio and two grandchildren. Services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana.
