Raymond John Babik, Jr., 57, of Rogers, Ohio, passed away at 1:50p.m., Sunday, July 27, 2008 at his home. Mr. Babik was born April 11, 1951 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Raymond Babik and Rose Elizabeth Fabian-Babik Lance. Raymond previously of New Springfield, moved to Rogers in 2004. Mr. Babik owned and operated Arrow Plumbing of East Palestine. Raymond was a 1970 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and a member of the Allen Lodge #276 F.&A.M. of Columbiana. Mr. Babik is survived by his wife, Debbie (Bellatto) Babik, whom he married January 24, 1970. Other survivors include his father Ray and step-mother Jean Babik of Struthers, Ohio; three sons, Raymond (Amy) John Babik III of Columbiana, Ohio, William R. Babik of Rogers and Daniel C. (Brandy) Babik of Lisbon; three sisters, Donna Vansil of Columbiana, Barbara Berry of New Middletown, Janet Finneran of Wadsworth; and one brother John Allen Babik of Columbus; four grandchildren Alexis, Wyatt, Blane and Brandon. Raymond was preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Craig as well as his mother. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana with Mr. David E. Roberts officiating. Burial will be in East Fairfield Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana where a Masonic Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that material tributes be sent to the Rescue Mission of Youngstown.
