Obituary

Raymond E. Lehman, 88, of 14120 Columbiana-Canfield Rd. Columbiana, passed away at 4:03 a.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010 at the Hospice House of Poland from complications of a stroke. Mr. Lehman was born on April 3, 1922 in Columbiana, the son of Clayton and Lucille Longanecker Lehman. Raymond was a part-time farmer. He had worked at the Russell Company of Columbiana and had also worked at the Ever Ready Gas Company of Columbiana for 35 years. He was a co-member of the Upper Room Fellowship and Midway Mennonite Church in Columbiana. Mr. Lehman was a l940 graduate of North Lima High School. He liked to do woodworking and he enjoyed his woods and log cabin which he built after his retirement. Raymond is survived by his wife, the former Ethel Marshall, whom he married May 27, 1965; two daughters Barb (Nathan) Martin and Laurie (John) McBride both of Columbiana; five sons Dale (Rita) Lehman of Broadway, VA, Tom (Rhonda) Lehman of Anderson, IN, Bruce (Ermma) Lehman of Yelm, WA, Fred (Celeste) Lamb of Leetonia and Michael (Kathy) Lehman of Toledo; 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Mr. Lehman was preceded in death by two infant children, two grandchildren, Rachelle Lehman and Kurt Martin and a brother Dr. Wilbur Lehman. Services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Upper Room Fellowship with Pastor Chuck Hamilton officiating. Friends may call from 4-6 pm Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at the Upper Room Fellowship in Columbiana.
