Richard N. Bean, age 89, of Caprice Care Center of North Lima formerly of E. Western Reserve Rd Poland, OH, passed away at 7:50 am Saturday, March 12, 2011 at the Caprice Care Center in North Lima. Mr. Bean, the son of J. Nevin and Lois (Scott) Bean, was born on March 19, 1921 in Youngstown, OH. Richard was a self employed carpenter and had also worked at the Cold Metal Products in Youngstown, OH. He also served in the Navy during WWII. Richard is preceded in death in by his wife Margaret (Craig) Bean, who passed in 1995, whom he married in 1948. Survivors include one daughter, Margaret L. Heywood-Greefey, Colorado, one son, R. Scott Bean, Albuquerque, NM, and one sister Jessie Torborn, of RI. A memorial services will be held Friday March 18, 2011 at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, North Lima, at 11:00 am. Family will receive friends one hour prior to memorial. Material tributes can be made to donors favorite charity in Richards name.
