Robert "Robbie" M. Olenik, 57, is at peace in Heaven with the Lord. Robbie died Oct. 2, 2011 at his home, surrounded by his family at his bedside. Robbie was born March 5, 1954, in Warren, Ohio the son of Leonard and Betty Olenik. He was a lifelong resident of Columbiana, Ohio. A 1972 graduate of Columbiana High School. He was employed for many years at Olenik Mfg.. Robbie's true passion was his love of music and singing. A respected musician, he played in Various Rock and Roll bands over the years. Robbie later found enjoyment with his solo acoustic performances and donated his time and talent performing for local nursing homes. Robbie was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Olenik and his brother Don. Robbie is survived by his daughter Mrs. Robin Olenik Lyle (Brett), grandson, Vincent of Altoona, Pa. his loving mother, Betty Olenik of Columbiana, a brother Ed (Susan) Olenik of Columbiana, many nieces and nephews and friend and companion Pam Barringer. Friends may call at 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, Columbiana. Service will be at 8:00 p.m. following calling hours on Wednesday October 5, 2011. In lieu of flowers his family requests donations to Hospice of the Valley, 9803 Sharrott Rd, Youngstown.
