Box 1 Columbiana, Ohio 44408 330-482-3788 Roberta Mae Coy, 82, of Austinwoods Care Center Youngstown, passed away at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 24, 2009 at Hospice House in Poland. Roberta was born December 19, 1926 in East Liverpool, Ohio, the daughter of the late Milton and Lessie Stewart Bartlette. Mrs. Coy had previously resided in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She had worked as a housekeeper for South Side Hospital in Youngstown for eighteen years. Roberta was one of Jehovah's Witness in Austintown. In past years she enjoyed crocheting, reading and flower gardening. Mrs. Coy is preceded in death in January 1979, by her husband, Roger D. Coy. They were married September 2, 1950. Survivors include two daughters Barbara (Lemuel) Wansley of Howland and Brenda (David) Jenkins of Salem; two sons Edward (Lucy) Coy of Salem and Robert (Mindy) Coy of East Rochester; seven grandchildren Chloe and Ethan Coy, Christopher, Amanda and Shane Whitacre, Heather Bixler and Tiffany Foerster and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Austintown with speaker David Everly. There will be no calling hours.
