North Lima, Ohio, passed away at 4:30 a.m. on Monday, January 21, 2008 from an apparent heart attack. He was born on November 15, 1959 in Salem, Ohio, the son of Delmar W. and Edna L. Klink Taylor. Rocky was a life-long area resident. He was self-employed truck driver for seven years. Earlier he had worked as a diesel mechanic and he also had worked for Cerni Motors of Austintown. Rocky attended Good Hope Lutheran Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and spent many hours with his son Bill and friends , restoring and maintaining his 56 Chevy and other cars. Mr. Taylor was a graduate of South Range High School. Besides his mother, Edna L. Taylor of Franklin Furnace, Ohio, Rocky is survived by his wife, the former Betty J. McNeal, whom he married October 18, 1980. Other survivors include a son, Bill Taylor and his niece Chelsea McNeal whom he had raised as his daughter, both at home; a sister Louise Show and her husband I. N.of Franklin Furnace, Ohio; three brothers Delmar G. Taylor and his wife Mae of North Lima, Terry L. Taylor and Jerry L. Taylor both of Franklin Furnace, Ohio. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 25, 2008 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima with Pastor Ralph Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2008 and one hour prior to the service on Friday, January 25, 2008 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima.
