Waynesville, Ohio, passed away at 2:40 pm at Hospice Center of Dayton on Friday, February 8, 2008, from a lengthy illness. Ronald was born on January 13, 1942 in Salem, the son of Reuben and Ida Snyder Coy. Mr. Coy was a computer technician for CDR Radio at Cedarville University for 20 years. Ronald was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church. He served in U.S. Air Force and was a graduate of New Springfield High School. Ronald is survived by his wife, the former Janice Arlene Rigby, whom he married February 1, 1961; two daughters, Kelvey Clemons of Morina, CA and Melanie Coy of Punta Gorda, FL; two sons, Brent Coy of London, England and Bryan Coy of Las Vegas, Nevada; three sisters Mrs. Stanley (Eloise) Simmons of Columbiana, Miss Diane Coy of New Middletown, Ohio and Mrs. Betty Kimble of Louisville, Ohio; four brothers Jay Coy of British Columbia, Canada, James Coy of New Springfield, Duane Coy and Philip Coy both of Columbiana and four grandchildren. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the Bethel Church of the Brethren New Middletown with Pastor Darrell Messer officiating. Burial will be in Zion Hill Cemetery. Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at the Bethel Church of the Brethren. Family suggests that in lieu of flowers, material tributes may be made to the Bethel Church of the Brethren. Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana was in charge of the arrangements.
