POLAND - Ruth Ann Coler, 73, passed away late Saturday morning, February 27 at Hospice House in Poland with her beloved husband beside her. Ruth Ann was born on February 18, 1943, in New Springfield, OH, a daughter of Leonard and Rheda B. (Jones) Myers. A 1961 Springfield Local High School graduate, she married Loren Coler Sr. on November 18, 1961. Ruth Ann was of the Protestant faith and drove the school bus for South Range schools for 10 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 54 years, Loren; her son William R. and his wife Meri of North Lima; her daughter-in-law Lori Janik Coler of Columbiana; and four grandchildren Jeremy, Rachel, Morgan and Christina. Ruth Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Wendy, who died at birth, and her son L. Robert Jr. who passed away in 2001. A time of remembrance will be observed on Wednesday, March 2 at 7 p.m. at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana with Pastor Joe Congemi officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, before the services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made in Ruth Ann's memory to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, OH 44514.
