COLUMBIANA - Ruth Margaret McBride, 90, of Market Street, peacefully passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at 12:30pm at Parkside Health Care Center. Mrs. McBride was born February 10, 1926 in Youngstown, OH. She was commissioned as a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force from 1951 to 1954 serving as a Flight Nurse. She went on to spend over forty years as a practicing Registered Nurse. She is survived by her three sons, Jack Willett, Ellis and Craig McBride. Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the chapel in Columbiana Cemetery with Gary Sloan officiating. Burial will follow. The family would like to invite friends and family to Zion Hill Church of the Brethren after the services for a meal and a time of fellowship.
