Box 1 Columbiana, Ohio 44408 330-482-3788 Salome Mae Yoder, 98, passed away at 11:43 pm on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at the Park Side Medical Center from infirmities of age. Mrs. Yoder was born on May 18, 1908 in Columbiana, the daughter of Ira and Ella Weaver Horst. Salome was a homemaker. Mrs. Yoder was the oldest member of the Midway Mennonite Church where she served as past Sunday School Teacher, member Mary- Dorcas Sewing Circle. Besides her sewing she also was an avid reader. Salome was preceded in death on February 13, 1989 by her husband Seth Yoder. They were married June 12, 1934. She is survived by a daughter Esther Mae VanPelt and her husband Floyd of Columbiana and a son Raymond Yoder and his wife Kathryn of Columbiana. She was preceded in death by two sisters Mrs. Ada Yoder and Mrs. Arthur (Clara) Conrad. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at the Midway Mennonite Church in Columbiana with Rev. Larry Rohrer officiating. Burial will be in Midway Cemetery. Friends may call from 6-8 pm Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the Church.
