Obituary

Family and friends are invited to a celebration of the life of Sarah Reynolds on Saturday, March 17, 11:00 am, at Seederly, Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana. Mary Altiere, Regent and former Chaplain of the Mahoning Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will officiate. Sarah was surrounded by her family and Grand-doggie Maia when she passed on March 12. Born September 15, 1928, in Canfield and the daughter of Noah Amos Lovelend and Hazel Wellendorf Loveland, Sarah leaves daughters Peggie Reynolds of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Donita Smith (son-in-law Gene Smith) of Columbiana. Her cherished grandsons, Cale and Graham (fiancAC.e Jennifer Lockshaw) Smith will always be her pride and joy. Employed most of her adult life, she was able to relax and play in the past 25 years -enjoying her family and taking up her favorite pastime of travel. Sarah set foot on all 7 continents, 34 countries and 46 states. She was married for 52 years to Donald Reynolds who passed away in 2002. A member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Colonial Dames, Sarah fulfilled a long legacy of ancestral ties to the Mahoning Valley. Her sister Mildred and brother-in-law Paul McCue and beloved nieces and nephews survive her. Sisters Vera Cook and Doris Malone and brother Ralph Loveland were able to meet her in death. The family requests that material tributes be directed to Hospice of the Valley, a facility and staff who serve the Angels.
