WASHINGTONVILLE- Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan 27 at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana for Shirley A. Bondi, 68, who passed away Tuesday at her daughter's home in Washingtonville. Shirley was born on Nov. 17, 1945 in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of Edward and Norma (Bruce) Flickner. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family. Shirley leaves to cherish her precious memories her step-mother Norma Jean Flickner, her daughter, Denise (Arnold) Jones of Washingtonville; a son, Anthony J. Bondi of Pittsburgh; five sisters, Debbie Bell of Boyers, Pa., Paula Boron and Sara Gray of New Castle, Pa., Roberta Conti and Jean Ann Recklaw of Longs, S.C; three brothers, Richard Flickner and Charles Flickner of New Castle, Pa., and Robert Flickner of Montana; three grandchildren, Sabrina Jones of Youngstown, Justin Jones of Salem, and Christopher Jones of Washingtonville. Besides her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony, whom she married on June 8, 1963 and died on March 11, 2012; and two brothers, Jack and Edward Flickner.
