Columbiana - Taffi L. Franket, 53, passed away November 29 at her home in Columbiana. Taffi was born on January 20, 1962, in Salem, OH, a daughter of Ronald S. Franket and Linda M. Thompson. She enjoyed reading and crocheting and loved being around her grandchildren. Taffi will be greatly missed by her mom Linda and step-father Gary Thompson of Columbiana; daughters Kristi Cressman and her husband Doug of Pittsburgh and Brenda Gray and her husband Wesley of St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren Elizabeth and Logan Gray and Xavier Cressman; brothers Samuel R. Smith and his wife Betty of East Palestine and Ronald Franket (Smith) and his wife Diann of Calico Plains, TN; and maternal grandmother Betty Bixby. She was preceded in death by her father Ronald, paternal grandparents Jensie and Sheldon Franket, and maternal grandfather Reverend Ben Bixby. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 5 at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home, 154 S. Elm Street, Columbiana, OH 44408 with Pastor Jan Winnale officiating.
