Jump, 92, of St. Mary's Alzheimer's Center of Columbiana, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 4:15 a.m. at Salem Community Hospital from complications of pneumonia. She was born on December 29, 1913 in Lemert, Ohio the daughter of Herbert J. and Rosa Ellen Laipply Aurand. Mrs. Jump had been a homemaker in earlier years. She moved to Columbiana 5 years ago. She was a member of the Lemert United Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women. She was a member of the Eastern Star of Sycamore and Women's Christian Temperance Union. She was preceded in death by her first husband Lloyd Walter in 1963 and her second husband Harold H. Jump in 1994. She is survived by a daughter Ms. Sharon Ritterspach of Lisbon, Ohio, a sister Mrs. Carl (Marilyn) Farrow of Crestline, Ohio, two brothers Dale Aurand and Calvin Aurand both of Tiffin, Ohio, three grandchildren, Jeff of Leetonia, Ohio, Chad of Charlotte, North Carolina and Nicole of Virginia Beach and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service by the family will be held at a later date. Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana was entrusted with the arrangements.
