AUSTINTOWN –Theresa Koehler, 86, of Austintown, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Youngstown.

She was born May 30, 1940, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Samuel and Theresa Cicero.A graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Theresa worked at the Sparkle Market in Columbiana. She was also a bus driver for Austintown Fitch and later Leonard Kirtz Schools.

Theresa was a full-time grandma –she was the first person to arrive at any horse show, baseball game or school play that her grandchildren were part of. She loved spending time with Gordon and Jennifer, and watching James play his music.

She is survived by her children Terry Koehler-Otto (Joe Scott) and Gordon (Tammy) Koehler II, as well as three grandchildren Gordon Koehler III, Jennifer Koehler (Jake McGuire), James Koehler, and beloved dog and best friend Dottie.

She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings Mike, John, and Sam Cicero and Carolyn Goss.

Theresa was a beloved mother and grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services will be held at a later date.
