COLUMBIANA - Thomas J. Patterson, 82, passed away early Monday morning, February 22 at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana surrounded by his family. Mr. Patterson was born on November 30, 1933 in Poland, OH, a son of Thomas and Mary (Payne) Patterson. He married the former Ruth Peterson on December 9, 1953. Thomas was a member of Columbiana Church of the Nazarene. He worked for 43 years in maintenance at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, and enjoyed golfing, woodworking, and photography. He leaves to cherish his precious memory his wife of 62 years Ruth; two daughters Marlene Squire and her husband Lynn of Boardman and Joyce Fullerton and her husband Jeff of Columbiana; two sons Doug and his wife Lisa of Columbiana and Jeff and his wife Lori of North Lima; a daughter-in-law Geri Patterson, a brother William (Barbara) Patterson of Lowellville; and many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and his son Gary. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 25 at 11:00 a.m. at Columbiana Church of the Nazarene, 330 N. Elm St., Columbiana with Pastor Jan WInnale officiating. The family will receive at 10:00 a.m., one hour prior to the service, at the church.
