POLAND - Timothy L. Smith, 60, passed away early Friday morning, February 27, surrounded by his family. He was born on October 8, 1954 in Sharon, PA to parents Warren Kay and Colleen (Feeney) Smith. A graduate of Kennedy Christian High School, Tim also served his country by joining the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era. Tim worked for many years for P.I. and I Motor Carriers as a truck driver. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Christine; his mother Colleen Smith; his brothers Jeff Smith and his wife Marie Magri-Smith and Greg Smith and his wife Jeannie; as well as many other family members and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 3 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Olivet United Church of Christ, 410 W. South Range Rd, North Lima, OH 44452 with Pastor David Howell officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 3 at 2:00 p.m., one hour prior to the service, at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests material contributions may be made in Tim's memory to the American Cancer Society, Mahoning County Unit, 525 North Broad Street, Canfield, OH 44406-9274.
