Virginia Cox, 88 of Boardman passed away Tuesday afternoon November 2, 2010 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital Boardman Campus, surrounded by her devoted and loving family. Virginia was born July 26, 1922 in Beaver Falls, PA; A daughter of John and Rose Phillips Banyas. She was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School. Virginia spent her entire adult life being a wonderful and caring mother to her 9 children, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Her children were most important and she centered her world around them. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren affectionately called her "Gram." She spent many hours enjoying all of them. She leaves five daughters Sandi Cox of Boardman, Nancy Williams of Boardman, Cindy Weeden of Columbiana, Karen Baquer of Salem and Susan Bradley of Cortland, and one son, Robert of Canfield, nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. She also leaves her faithful little shih tzu "Kyelee," who was her constant companion. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, who passed away Feb. 12, 1971 and three sons, Earl Cox, Jr, Richard Cox and Edward Ehrenberg. Private family service is being held at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima. Pastor Paul Burgeson of Jerusalem Luthern Church will be officiating. There are no calling hours.
