Virginia M. Mueller, 85, of New Middletown, OH, passed away with her family at her side at 3:05 am Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Salem Hospital, OH, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Mueller, the daughter of Harry R. and Anna E. (Slagle) Oesch, was born on February 6, 1926 in Columbiana, Ohio. Virginia graduated from Columbiana High in 1944. She worked at the State Highway Patrol driver exam station of Lisbon where she retired in 1992. She was a member of the Community Bible Church in Beloit, OH. Mrs. Mueller is survived by two daughters, Janie (Wallace) Buckner, New Middletown and Martha Barnard, Peterburg OH, one sister, Jane L Kidd, Beloit, and three grandchildren, Heather (Jeff) Van Dam, Brian Barnard, and Ashley Barnard, and one great grandchild Veronica Van Dam. She is preceded in death by one brother, Harry R. Oesch. There will be no services held for Mrs. Mueller.
