NEW SPRINGFIELD– Vivian Reesh, 88, of New Springfield, passed away at Hospice House Tuesday morning, May 28, 2024.
Vivian was born on April 9, 1936, in Campbell, OH, a daughter of Arthur and Lena McLaughlin King. A 1954 graduate of Wilson High School, she married Richard Reesh on November 1, 1991. She worked at the Valu-King in North Lima in the bakery and video department. Vivian attended Greenford Christian Church, and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her husband Richard, children Jeff (Doreen) Gustafson of Columbiana, Cheryl Corey of Alabama, Gary Ripple of New Springfield; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; siblings Arthur (Barb) King of Austintown, Edward King and James King, both of Struthers, and Gwen Smith of Austintown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-law Jay Corey and sister Shirley Durflinger.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 1:00pm at Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home, 11500 Market Street, North Lima, with Pastor David Allman officiating.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at New Springfield Lutheran Cemetery.
The family has entrusted Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima, Ohio with the arrangements for their loved one.
