Beck, "Will", 71 of 151 Village Court, Columbiana, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2007, at Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana. Will was born on July 25, 1935 in Lisbon, the son of Russell and Lois Miller Beck. Mr. Beck had worked at the National City Bank in Columbiana for 35 years retiring in 1993 in the position of District President. Will was very active in church and community affairs. In 1993 he received the "Lifetime of Service" award from the Columbiana Chamber of Commerce. He enjoyed tennis, golf, pool, Bridge and pheasant hunting. Will had a wonderful sense of humor that will be missed by all. Mr. Beck is survived by his wife, the former Ann Moorehead, whom he married June 29, 1958. He is also survived by a daughter Shelley Ley and her husband Mike of Pittsburgh, a son Brian Beck and his wife Lisa of Chicago, a brother Richard Beck of Columbiana and two grandchildren. Wilbur was preceded in death by a brother Ralph (Corky) Beck in 1960. Services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, February 1, 2007 at the First Christian Church in Columbiana with Mr. Len Derico officiating. Burial will be in Columbiana Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 pm on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the church.
