Poland, Ohio passed away at 9:30 pm, Friday, November 24, 2006 at the St. Elizabeth Health Care Center where he had been ill since Wednesday evening. He will be remembered and loved by family and friends. Bill was born on February 28, 1935 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Alfred and Anna Bacon Collier. He was a life-long area resident. He was last employed as a field representative for All Action Restoration since 1985 where he retired in May 2006. He was also retired from I.B.E.W. Beaver Local. He was a member of the Greenford Christian Church and the I.B.E.W. Bill was an avid Nascar Fan and he was a former Race Car Driver at Canfield & Sharon Speedways in the 1960's and he also scuba dived in earlier years. He is survived by his wife, the former Joanne Yeany, whom he married on May 18, 1957; three daughters Victoria L. Collier and Constance J. Collier both of Boardman and Carrie Jo Wahl and her husband Jerry of Sandusky and three grandsons Neil Gomez, William Holes, Michael Holes and one granddaughter Nancy Wahl. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima with Mr. Jeff Hugus officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Sunday, November 26, 2006 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima and one hour prior to the service on Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima.
