COLUMBIANA- Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in North Lima for William Lee Kerr, 66, with Mr. John Bush officiating. Mr. Kerr passed away unexpectedly early Thursday morning at Saint Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown. Bill was born on December 21, 1946 in Youngstown, the son of William K. and Maxine L. (Snyder) Kerr, and was a life-long resident. A 1964 graduate of North Lima High School, Bill joined the Reserves and later enlisted in the Navy where he trained as a Medical Corpsman. He worked as a machinist at various businesses before becoming the head of National Operations of the "Fun-N-Games" former division of The DeBartolo Corporation. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed fishing and collecting arcade video games and jukeboxes. He was a boy scout leader and also belonged to the Ruritans in North Lima. He was a member of his high school reunion committee. He was an avid mini car enthusiast, and especially enjoyed being called "Mr. Bill." Bill leaves to cherish his precious memory his wife Georgina, whom he married on September 7, 1968 and with him he would have celebrated 45 years of marriage this year; his three sons, William Lee (Michele) Kerr, Jr. of Columbiana, and twins Joseph also of Columbiana and James (partner Laurie Brockway) Kerr of Struthers; six grandchildren, Jacquelyn, Kaitlyn, Brittany Kerr, Gianna Delisio, and Colin and Connor Brockway; his two sisters, Linda (Ray) Howdershelt of New Waterford and Joyce (Jeff) Ziegler of North Lima; and a brother Larry (Karen) Kerr of North Lima. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, William Michael Kerr. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the Seederly-Mong and Beck Funeral Home in North Lima. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet UCC Cemetery.
