William F. Modarelli Jr., 58, of Columbiana, passed away at 5:02 p.m. at Salem Community Hospital on Tuesday, August 21, 2007. Mr. Modarelli was born on August 26, 1948 in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late William and Rosalie Modarelli. William was a life long area resident and a graduate of Girard High school. He was employed as a salesman in the food industry. He was a musician and previously played with the "Brotherhood Band" as a keyboard player. Mr. Modarelli is survived by his wife Wanda A. (Utkowska), whom he married on December 21, 2000. He is also survived by his step-daugther, Carrie A. Ramos (Andrew Mapley) of Columbiana, his sister, Lisa (Matt) Johnston of Cleveland, his brother, Richard Modarelli of Boardman and one grandson, Drew Mapley. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 25, 2007 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Leetonia with Father Thomas Eisweirth officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2007 at Seederly-Mong & Beck Funeral Home in Columbiana and also Saturday, August 25, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
